Debasis & Associates has a range of qualified, skilled consultants with solid grounding in a wide range of skills acquired from challenging careers in reputed organizations.

Debasis, the principal, has close to four decades of experience that’s split almost equally between government organizations and the private sector. What started as a career in electronics and communication technologies in Defense R&D, continued through major areas of IT technologies as also in IT based services in the private sector. These include hardware product development, software professional services, product development, software testing and embedded product development technologies for digital media. GIS, CAD/CAM in mechanical, CAD in plant modeling and intelligent P&ID and architectural CAD are the other major areas he specialized in.

He worked with DRDO, HCL, Indchem R&D Lab, Rolta, PCS, Genesis International as well as a set of technology start ups.

He has a BS in Electronics Engineering from Jadavpur University and a MS in Computer Science from IIT, Kanpur.

Diptendu, has more than a decade’s experience in hardcore sales & marketing specially in distribution channels. Besides home appliances, consumer goods and FMCG he has worked with Insurance majors too. He is keenly interested in teaching the skills he has learnt  over the years.                                                                                                           

He worked with majors like Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, New York Max.

He has a MBA from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute, New Delhi.

Jia, has been active in content writing technical as well as creative for close to a decade. That includes translation experience. Jia is also a published poet/author.

She has worked with learning content developers, hotel industry and various other copy writing assignments.

She has a MS in English Literature from Pune University.

Udayan, presently working on his doctoral thesis in computer networking at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, US.

He has a MS from the same institute and a BS in Electronics from Pune University.

Arup, has worked in financial institutions for  a long time. His experience includes stints with IT and IT enabled services organizations in administration management and HR.

He worked with LIC, PCS, Genesis International and  start up ventures. Currently is a financial & investment consultant .

He has couple of decades experience in Vedic astrology and is known for his accurate interpretation of astrological charts.

He has a BS with Physics major from Kolkata University.
